The all-star game betwen the Brewers League stars and the M Street all-stars is set for this Saturday at 1pm. The event was made possible throught the hard work of Billy Collins and Michael Buckman. It should be a great game as both teams have quality players at every position.

Before the game begins, Bobby Wogan of Citystyle Clothing, will try to defend his crown in the homerun hiting contest. Following the game the league is sponsoring a cookout for the players, family, and friends. Attendance is welcomed and appreciated.

O'Malley's John Nee and Joe Pano broke open a tied game when they hit back to back homeruns in the top of the seventh inning and Tommy Greene pitched his way out of a seventh inning jam to earn the victory. Linnehan's had just tied the game an inning earlier on a two out single by Steve Hannon.

Shannon's Tavern 8 - L Street Tavern 7
The Cardiac Kids did it again. Trailing by three with one out and the bases empty in the bottom of the seventh, the Kids rallied for four runs to steal the win from L Street. Chris Crowley's double to center scored Jimmy Ahern with the game's winning run.

Corner Tavern 9 - Shannon's 1
Shannon's found themselves in a familiar situation when they fell behind by six runs after two innings. Would the Cardiac Kids pull off another come from behind win? It was not to be as crafty left hander Don Senna tossed a five hitter at them. Senna's battery mate Bob Sweeney connected for his first homerun of the season and firstbaseman Jim Burgio had a great game at the plate as he collected two doubles and a homerun to deep center.

Citystyle 9 - Bay View Liquors 2
Pitchers Jimmy McNiff and Chris Burnell combined for the victory as Citystyle knocked off Bay View in five innings. Bobby Ivonelli, Dennis Lynch, and John Young led they way for Citysyle's offense.

DJ Linnehans scored eleven runs in the first inning when they sent thirteen batters to the plate. Pitcher John Gregorio picked up the easy win for DJ's.

Deeney O'Malley's 9 - Corner Tavern 2
John Nee hit a grand slam and a three-run homer to give pitcher Tommy Greene plenty of support as O'Malley's knocked the Tavern out of first place. Nee broke the game open with his grand slam in the sixth.

Citystyle 12 - L Street 3
Pitchers Chris Burnell and mark Beale combined for the win as Citystyle reclaimed first place. Beale, who was playing with a broken toe, pitched effectively for five innings before giving way to Burnell. Joey Ward and John Young had the key hits for Citystyle.
