The Wallace Club with a 20-1 record, leads the South Boston Softball
League, which is now in its second to last week of play. Following the Wallace Club are Mack's Cafe, Scat's Tavern and Melchie's Smoke Shop. League president Ray Flynn announced that ballotting for the all-star game will be held this week; the game itself will be played on Thursday, August 6, at 6:15pm at the Christopher Lee playground. The game promises to be the highlight of the season. League playoffs will take place the following week. |
