League Notes:
Rumor has it than an L Street Tavern player predicted an undefeated season this year. So far, the prediction holds true as the Tavern is 8-0. Shanons Taverns' Steve Muldowney hit his first career homerun off of the leagues best pitcher, Paul Alessi. The Abbey's Pat Ostiguy drilled Randy Carey's inside fastball off of, and over, th eleft field fence for his first career home run. It took Pat ten short years to complete the feat.

In a wild ball game last week, Dudley's Tavern and DJ Linehan's combined for a total of 26 runs. The game was tied 13-13 after seven innings of play.

While the Gannon Club and Footprints both had succesful weeks, with each going 3-0, the Sidewalk Cafe would like to put the week behind them as they went 0-3.

Deeney O'Malley's pitcher, Sean Turner, is proving he has the right stuff, as his record is 3-0. As predicted, Bay View Liquors have found the winning ways, as the have won three of the last four.

Looking more and more like last year's division winner, Moran Club, the Flaherty Club's record will start to improve.
