KEVIN WHITE CLUB WINS
FIRST ROUND OF M STREET PARK PLAYOFFS

The Kevin White Club upset the first place Bayside Club last Friday night at M Street Park in South Boston to take the first round of the American League Playoffs, by the scroe of 6-5. The two teams played one of the most exciting games of the season as the series went right down to the last out.

Pitching an outstanding game was Billy Murphy, 53, who gave the fans something to talk about. Some of the other notables who played great during the series was John Ridge, Chuckie Wheeler, Bob Dunkle, and Jack Farrell. Third baseman Jimmy Stoddard made the play of the series when he snared a hot ground ball and stepped on third then threw to second for a double play in the last of the seventh in a tight game.

The kevin White Club will now face the hard hitting Canavan's Pub with their outstanding pitcher Tommy Greene. Canavan's made it to the American League finals by beating the Joker's Club. In the National League, Triple O's Lounge defeated My Towne Tavern and will now play the surprising Old Harbor A.C. Team who knocked off the YIP Club to reach the finals.
