Shannon's Tavern 3 - Citystyle 2
Shannon's Tavern pulled off an exciting come from behind win over Citystyle. Mike Prendergast started the scoring with a lead off homer in the first inning. Citystyle answered in the fifth with two runs when Pat Sullivan's single to right scored Joey Ward and John Young. Looking for the victory, Citystyle's pitcher Mark Beale set Shannon's down in order in the sixth and had two outs in the seventh when luck would change hands.
With Randy Carey on first, Prendergast hit a hard single to left that was misplayed by the outfielder. Carey, who never stopped running on the hit, scored all the way from first to tie the game. Timmy Malley then followed with a single to center that scored Prendergast and setting of a wild celebration at home plate.

Deeney O'Malley's 4 - Bay View Liquors 3
Bay View came close to winning their first game of the year but fell when Bill Louberry and Joe Pano led a four run attack in the sixth inning.

Corner Tavern 4 - L Street Tavern 2
Scott Grant hit a three0run homer in the fourth inning as the Corner Tavern pulled in front and hunbg on for the close victory. Earlier in the game, things were looking up for L Street when Kevin Turner launched a two-run homer to left putting his team ahead 2-0. Both pitchers, Don Senna and Brian Lee pitched well enough to earn a win.

Shannon's Tavern 14 - Deeney O'Malley's 9
Shannon's scored thirteen runs in the final two innings to complete another come from behind win. Shannon's pitcher Jay Malley notched his fourth straight victory.

Citystyle 10 - DJ Linnehan's 0
Realizing they let one get away the night before, the Citystyle players came to the field with fire in their eyes. Bobby Wogan's two-run homer in the third opened the scoring for Citystyle and as it turned out, it was all they needed as Jimmy McNiff earned his second shutout of the season. The game featured great defensive plays highlighted by Joey Ward's spinning circus catch in left field.

Corner Tavern 8 - Bay View Liquors 6
The Corner Tavern won a strange come from behind win that was tainted by of all things, an illegal pitch. With the game scoreless in the top of the sixth inning, Jim Burgio hit a grand slam to deep left. But Bay View fought back. Scott Maginnis double to left field tied the score and they would add two more to take a 6-4 lead.
Now trailing by two runs, Jason O'Connell tied the score with a clutch two-run double. Bay View then were sent down in order in the bottom of the seventh which then led to the illegal pitch.
With men on second and third, Tavern's Scott Grant hit a slow roller to the second baseman who picked it up and threw wildly to home enabling the runner to score from third. As the catcher went to retrieve the ball the second base runner dashed for home sliding under the tag of the pitcher who was covering the plate. The umpire called the runner safe and the pitcher strongly disagreed.
The next pitch thrown was an overhand fastball which is considered an illegal pitch in softball. The pitcher's reward for throwing such a pitch was an immediate ejection from the game, which left his team shorthanded and therefore ending the game on a bizarre note.

Shannon's 5 - Bay View 2
Joey Burke pitched his best game of the year and Shannon's collected ten hits in beating Bay View. It was Burke's first start in fiev games as he has given way to teammate Jay Malley. Greg Gerbatavitch helped his team by homering in the sixth inning to left field.
