Week's Roundup
Defending champion Triple O's has jumped out in front in the South Boston M Street Softball League's National League while Teamster's Pub owns a narrow one point advantage over the Bobby Ford Club and Bayside Club in the American Division.

Triple O's bested the Y.I.P. Club and Connelly's to boost its record to 5-1, ahead of second place Old Harbor A.C. and Old Towne Tavern. These two teams squared off Monday night in one of the key games this week.

The Y.I.P. men bounced back from a Triple O's setback to knock off the Sam Moran Club while Rabbitt Inn staged a seventh inning rally to curb the upset bid of Manning's Arco. In the American loop, Teamster's and Canavan's Pub played give and take softball to end in that divisions first tie of the season. It vaulted Teamster's into a point edge on Bayside (4-2) and Bobby Ford (4-1).

The Ford men beat up on the 201 Club while Bayside took 210 and shaved Broadway Haircutters. Canavan's still has but one defeat and now the tie with Teamster's. The Square Cafe puts its finger in the socket and got another jolt, this time from the Haircutters. But the Square rebounded with a victory over Murphy's Electric.

In other games last week, Old Towne beat Rabbit, Connelly's got its first taste of victory, M Street-style, with a win over Manning's. Canavan's topped the winless Knights. Old Harbor ripped Sam Moran as Shamrock did to Connelly's and Teamster's bopped Murphy's.
